Heidi brings over 20 years of diverse experience in project management, systems development, marketing and investment banking to her work with Grunwald clients. She has been project manager on many of Grunwald Associates’ best known studies, including research for the Educational Testing Service, Microsoft, Kodak and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
Heidi is passionate about education and children. While at Grunwald Associates, Heidi also worked part time as a special needs paraeducator in the Montgomery County, Maryland public schools.
Before joining Grunwald, Heidi was a Project Manager at MCI, where she managed interdepartmental teams to develop and implement new voice and data products. She acted as liaison between the Marketing and Systems Engineering Departments, and led regular briefings and presentations to senior management.
Prior to MCI, Heidi led cross-functional project teams at the International Finance Corporation/World Bank, where she tracked, evaluated and reported on the IFC’s loan and equity portfolio.
As a Corporate Analyst in the International Advisory Group at Lehman Brothers, Heidi advised governments of developing countries on financial matters, including Peru, Zaire, Togo, Senegal, Nigeria, Costa Rica, Mozambique and Indonesia. She Worked in London and Paris to prepare financial scenarios for Togo and Senegal during London Club and Paris Club debt negotiations.
More recently Heidi was a consultant to the Merchant Banking Department of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London, where she worked with senior officers to develop management and compliance policies.
